Mrs. Starling, Vice President, ensures Intrepid’s strategic expansion within the defense industry by setting business development goals and objectives at the national level. As a retired Air Force Officer with over 25 years of experience in Program Management and Warfighter Operations, Shannan brings a wide breadth of knowledge and experience from the Department of Defense (DoD) to Intrepid. Mrs. Starling retired from the United States Air Force in Jan 2013 where she served as a program manager for The Command and Control Battle Management Communications Directorate (C2BMC) within The Missile Defense Agency. During her tenure in the Air Force, she served as a Commander, Operations Officer, Academic Instructor, and Program Manager for several multi-million dollar programs. Along with her executive duties, Mrs. Starling also serves as Program Manager for OASIS, managing and expanding Intrepid’s Air Force Presence. Shannan holds a Master of Science degree in Aeronautical Operations/Safety from Embry-Riddle and a Master of Military Operational Arts and Science Degree from the Air Command and Staff College.
